GEAT FOR YOUR HIOLIDAYS OR FOR ME ANYTIME....AFTER AKK, EVERYDAY IS A HOLIDAY. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
1-2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to your taste) |
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream |
2 (16 ounce) packages frozen corn, thawed |
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened |
fresh ground peper to taste |
3/4 to 1 cup crushed butter flavored crackers like ritz |
3 tablespoons butter, finely diced |
Directions:
1. SET OVEN TO 350 DEGREES 2. GREASE 13X9 BAKING DISH 3. IN LARGE SAUCEPAN MELT BUTTER OVER LOW HEAT 4. ADD WHIPPING CREAM AND SUGAR; STIR UNTIL BLENDED 5. MIX IN CORN, STIR TO COAT 6. STIR IN CREAM CHEESE AND COOK STIRRING OVER LOW HEAT UNTIL MELTED AND WELL BLENDED 7. SEASON TO TASTE, YOU CAN ALS ADD CAJON SEASONG IF YOU WISH 8. TRANSFER TO BAKING DISH 9. SPRINKLE THE CRUSHED CRACKERS OVER THE TOP THE DOT WITH BUTTER 10. BAKE FOR ABOUT 20-30 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED |
