baked chicken salad Ingredients:
1/2 c. mayonnaise |
1 tsp. onion juice or finely chopped onion |
1 tsp. lemon juice |
1 can cream of chicken soup |
1/2 can milk |
2 c. celery, diced |
1 tsp. salt |
2 c. cooked chicken, diced |
1/2 c. slivered almonds (optional) |
potato chips, crushed |
Directions:
1. Combine mayonnaise, onion juice, lemon juice, soup, milk, celery and salt. 2. Carefully fold in chicken. 3. Add almonds. 4. Pour into a casserole. 5. Top with a 1/4 inch layer of potato chips. 6. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until bubbly. 7. Serve hot. 8. Yield 4 servings. |
