BAKED CHICKEN LIVERS This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Park Estate in Irving, Texas in 1984. Ingredients:
1 pound chicken livers |
1/2 teaspoon thyme |
1/2 teaspoon sage |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
Directions:
1. Rinse chicken livers then remove any dark spots and fat and pat dry. 2. Pierce each liver several times with a fork. 3. In a 1 quart casserole combine livers with seasonings then stir and cover tightly. 4. Microwave on high for 1 minute then at medium for 6 minutes. 5. Allow to sit 5 minutes before serving. |
