Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu |

This recipe has only six ingredients yet has a lot of flavor. The recipe is from Healthy Cooking magazine. Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (6 ounces each) |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
4 thin slices prosciutto or 4 deli ham |
1/2 cup asiago cheese, shredded |
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs |
Directions:
1. Flatten chicken to 1/4 inch thickness; sprinkle with salt and pepper. 2. Top each with prosciutto or deli ham and cheese. 3. Roll up and tuck in ends; secure with toothpicks. 4. Transfer to an 11-inch by 7-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. 5. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. 6. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 35-45 minutes or until juices run clear. |
