Baked Cauliflower With Cheese |

Easy to make side dish that can go in the oven with the main course. Save time and electricity and the same time. Ingredients:
1 lb cauliflower (one 16oz. package frozen or approximately one head broken into pieces) |
3/4 cup cheese, shredded (whatever kind you like ' i like american, gouda & cheddar) |
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon white pepper |
Directions:
1. Toss all ingredients except cream and pour into a deep baking dish. Pour cream over top. Bake at 350 degrees (or whatever temp your main dish needs), covered, until desired doneness. I like it a little al dente, but it's great softer, too. Al dente from frozen takes about half an hour, a little longer if using fresh cauliflower. |
