I got this recipe from my Husband's grandmother. The cinnamon red hots give it a wonderful flavor. Ingredients:
6 apples, peeled and sliced |
2 cups red-hot candies |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
1 cup water |
Directions:
1. Layer the first three ingredients in a casserole dish, ending with the candy add the water. 2. Bake at 350 F for about an hour or until the apples are fork tender. |
