Baked Brie With Cherries And Pecans |

This recipe is so good. I got it from a friend who served this as a bridal shower a few years back. It is so elegant, so creamy, so full of tastes I can never get enough of it when I do make it. Hope you love it as much as I do. Ingredients:
6” wheel of brie cheese softened |
1/4 cup dried cherries chopped |
1/4 cup toasted pecans chopped |
3 tablespoons light brown sugar |
1 puff pastry sheet |
1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water |
Directions:
1. Cut brie in half with knife. 2. Sprinkle bottom half with cherries, nuts and sugar the replace top half and apply pressure to secure and seal stuffing. 3. Working on well floured surface roll pastry to full cover brie then place in middle of pastry and fold excess around wheel. 4. Brush with egg glaze and bake on parchment lined baking sheet at 40 for 30 minutes. 5. Reduce heat to 325 and bake 20 minutes longer. |
