I had this at my sister's house. It is wonderful! Ingredients:
1/2 pkg pepperidge farm frozen puff pastry sheets (1 sheet) |
1 egg |
1 t water |
1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam |
1/4 cup sliced almonds |
1 brie cheese round |
Directions:
1. Pull pastry to 4 square. Cut into circle. Spread preserves to within 1 of edge. 2. Sprinkle almonds over jeam. 3. Top with cheese. 4. Brush edges of circle with egg mixture. 5. Fold pastry over cheese. Press edges to seal. 6. Place seam side down on baking sheet. 7. Brush with egg mixture 8. bake 20 minutes or until golden |
