This is a nice gift in a pretty jar or tin. Ingredients:
2 cups raw spanish peanuts |
1 cup sugar |
1/2 cup water |
1 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In a heavy medium skillet,cook peanuts,sugar and water over medium heat until all liquid is absorbed and peanuts are coated with sugar (about 20 minutes) Sprinkle with salt. 3. Transfer to greased jellyroll pan. 4. Bake 10 minutes,stirring after 5 minutes. 5. Spread on aluminum foil to cool. 6. Store in airtight container. |
