This is a great baked bean recipe for a summer picnic with homemade potato salad and barbeque! Ingredients:
3 cups cooked beans |
3 tablespoons of brown sugar |
3 tablespoons of molasses |
2 teaspoons of dry mustard |
1 onion chopped |
4 strips of bacon (uncooked) |
salt and catsup to taste |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients with bacon on the top. 2. Add a little bit of water to cover and prevent burning. 3. Bake at 300 degrees for several hours until sauce is thickened. |
