Really tasty, great with the burger and fries dinner or with potato salad Ingredients:
6 slices bacon |
1 cup chopped onion |
1 clove of garlic minced |
2 (16 ounce) can pinto beans |
1 (16 ounce) black beans |
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans |
3/4 cup ketchup |
2 tablespoons molasses |
2/3 cup packed brown sugar |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon yellow mustard |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F 2. 2. Place bacon in a skillet and cook until evenly brown and then drain reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings crumble the bacon and set aside. 3. 3. Cook the onion and the garlic in the reserved drippings until onion is tender and then drain the excess grease and transfer to the bowl with the bacon. 4. 4. To the bacon and the onions add the beans stir in the ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, mustard and black pepper. Mix well and transfer to casserole dish 5. 5. Cover and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. |
