Baked Bean Corn Dog Casserole |

This is easy, cheap, and delicious! Kids and adults alike both love it. Great for Potlucks, and only takes about 10 minutes to throw together! Ingredients:
4 (28 ounce) cans bushes baked beans (any flavor) |
20 -25 hot dogs |
2 (8 1/2 ounce) boxes jiffy cornbread mix |
3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
2/3 cup milk (for cornbread mix) |
2 eggs (for cornbread mix) |
2 cups creamed corn (1 regular size can) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Put beans into large baking pan. 3. Slice hot dogs into 1/2 inch slices and add to beans. 4. Bake for 15-20 minutes. 5. While bean and hot dog mixture is in the oven,Mix cornbread mix, milk, eggs, creamed corn, and cheese in a large bowl. 6. Once bean and hot dog mixture has baked for 15-20 minutes, spread cornbread mixture gently on top to cover. 7. Bake for 20-30 additional minutes or until cornbread is cooked through. 8. Cornbread will be moist because of corn, so don't overcook. |
