Great for potlucks! Ingredients:
1/2 lb bacon, cut up |
1 1/2 lbs ground beef |
2 large onions, chopped |
60 ounces pork & beans |
1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes |
3/4 cup brown sugar |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 dash celery salt |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon till crisp; remove from skillet. 2. Pour off bacon grease and add ground beef and onions to skillet. 3. Cook till browned, add bacon fat if needed. 4. Combine other ingredients. 5. Add to meat mixture. 6. Add bacon bits for topping. 7. Pour into a 11/2 qt. casserole. 8. Bake at 350° for 2 hours. |
