A wonderful baked bean dish. Ingredients:
1/2 lb bacon (diced) |
1/2 lb ground beef |
1 cup onion (chopped) |
1 (28 ounce) can pork & beans |
1 (17 ounce) can lima beans (rinsed & drained) |
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans |
1/2 cup barbecue sauce |
1/2 cup white sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 tablespoons mustard |
1/2 cup ketchup |
2 tablespoons molasses |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, cook bacon, beef and onion. 2. Transfer into a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. 3. ,add all of the beans and mix well. 4. In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients. 5. Stir into beef and bean mixture. 6. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. 7. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer. |
