This salad/side dish may be served hot, cold, room temperature. Wonderful use of leftovers with this delicious dish. Doctor up with some barbecue sauce and fresh herbs to taste
Ingredients:
3 cups leftover barbecue baked beans( canned, home made etc )
2 cups cooked brown rice
1 cup cooked yellow rice
chopped fresh parsley
barbecue sauce as needed
Directions:
1. Simply mix the beans and the rice together
2. Moisten with favorite barbecue sauce if needed
3. Stir in some chopped parsley ( or cilantro ) to taste
4. Serve heated or cold
