Baked Barbequed Spare Ribs |

When you're craving ribs in the middle of winter, these are great. Ingredients:
5 lbs country pork ribs |
2 cups boiling water |
1 cup catsup |
1/2 cup worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup vinegar |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1 teaspoon celery seed |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
ground pepper |
1/2 cup minced onion |
1 lemon, sliced thin |
hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Bake 5 lbs. country pork ribs in a 9x13x2 pan, all by themselves at 350 deg. for 45 to 60 minute Drain. 2. While spareribs are baking, mix remaining ingredients and simmer. 3. Add sauce to spareribs, baste frequently. 4. Bake at 350 deg. until ribs are tender and sauce thickens. |
