Baked Bananas With Cream Cheese |

This is great with low fat cream cheese as well. It is good over poundcake or shortbread cookies. I haven't made this yet but it sounds great! Ingredients:
6 bananas |
butter |
1 cup cream cheese |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons white sugar |
2 tablespoons rum |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 cup heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Cut the bananas in half and gently brown in butter over moderate heat. Cream together the cream cheese, sugars, rum and cinnamon until smooth. 2. Layer browned bananas and cream mixture in a greased 8x8 inch baking dish. Pour the havy cream over all and bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. |
