Ingredients:
4 bananas, peeled |
lemon juice |
1/4 cup raisins |
1/4 cup finely chopped pecans |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/4 cup light corn syrup |
1/4 cup water |
1 tablespoon butter or margarine |
whipping cream (optional) |
Directions:
1. Dip bananas in lemon juice; arrange in a greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins and pecans. Combine sugar, syrup, and water in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until bubbly. Spoon syrup over bananas; dot with butter. Cover and bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Serve warm with whipping cream, if desired. |
