This recipe came from my need to come up with how to make ribs for my elderly father who is not a fan of BBQ sauce. Ingredients:
1 baby back rib rack, cut into 3-4 pieces |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 tablespoons sugar |
2 tablespoons paprika |
1 tablespoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 (12 ounce) bottle beer |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
2 tablespoons minced garlic cloves |
1/2 cup chopped onion |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1/2 tablespoon hot sauce |
Directions:
1. Combine the dry rub ingredients. Rub into the ribs, cover & refrigerate for 2 hours. 2. Combine cooking stock ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Place the ribs in a baking pan and pour the stock all over. 3. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 3 hours. Remove cover and continue baking until most of the liquid has evaporated. |
