Baked Apples With Crispy Insides |

This is my way of making the traditional apple crisp Ingredients:
6 granny smith apples |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
3/4 cup quick cooking oats |
1/2 cup flour |
1 tsp. cinnamon |
1/4 cup chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup apple juice |
Directions:
1. Core apples, making sure you don't go all the way through the apple. 2. On the end that you core the apple, trim the skin down down the side about 1/2 inch. 3. Set aside 4. In mixing bowl,mix remaining ingredients except apple juice until blended well 5. Stuff mixture into apple 6. Place in baking dish 7. Pour apple juice into baking dish 8. Bake at 325 for about 45 minutes or until apples are nice and soft |
