Baked Apples Stuffed With Figs and Hazelnuts |

Healthy dessert...serve with vanilla ice-cream. Ingredients:
8 small organic apples |
5 dried figs |
20 h hazelnuts |
1 lemon |
2 tablespoons brown sugar (rapdura) |
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
Directions:
1. Take cores out of apples. 2. Chop figs and hazelnuts. 3. Add grated lemon rind, sugar and cinnamon. 4. Add 1 tbs juice from the lemon. 5. Press fig mixture into apples. 6. Spoon 2 tbs lemon juice over the apples. 7. Bake at 180 C for 15 minutes. |
