Baked Apple Slices

I haven't made this yet, but it sounds really yummy. Baking time depends of the type of apples you use.
Ingredients:
3 large baking apples, peeled and sliced
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup apple cider
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup raisins
vanilla ice cream (optional)
Directions:
1. Place apples in greased 1 quart baking dish.
2. Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and apple cider.
3. Pour over apples.
4. Dot with butter.
5. Sprinkle with raisins.
6. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until apples are tender.
7. Serve warm over ice cream if desired.
