I love these and for the extra rush I serve with the cherrie almond sauce on the side Ingredients:
3/4 cup all-purpose flour |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 eggs |
3/4 cup light cream |
1 tablespoon butter |
1 or 2 cooking apples |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
2 tablespoons melted butter |
Directions:
1. Heat iron, oven proof skillet, spray with Pam. 2. Mix flour, sugar, salt, eggs, cream, and 1 T butter. Mix well. 3. Pour into hot skillet, and cook over medium heat, lay the apples, quartered and thinly sliced over top, completely covering surface. 4. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle op top of apple slices. 5. Drizzle 2 T melted butter all over the top. 6. Bake at 400 degrees till done (it puffs). 7. Really good with the cherry almond sauce (below) but just as great by them selves ……..enjoy 8. CHERRY ALMOND SAUCE 9. 1 can Cherry Pie Filling 10. 1/2 stick Butter or Margarine 11. 1/3 cup Brown Sugar 12. 1/4 cup Light Corn Syrup 13. 1/2 tsp Almond Extract 14. Cook all ingredients except Almond Extract, in saucepan till blended & bubbly. Remove from heat, add Almond Extract. Mix well and pour over Peach Puff Pancake. (Optional - Garnish with slivered almonds) |
