These are so good and bursting with great apple flavor. Crowd pleasure for sure and this recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for larger crowds. Enjoy Ingredients:
2 granny smith apples peeled cored and thinly sliced |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1 cup milk |
4 large eggs |
1 cup flour |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup unsalted butter |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 425 then lightly oil a cast iron skillet. 2. Toss apples with both sugars and cinnamon in a large bowl. 3. Mix milk and eggs in a blender or food processor then add flour and salt then mix to combine. 4. Melt butter in prepared skillet over medium heat. 5. Add apple mixture then cook stirring often until sugar melts about 5 minutes. 6. Remove from heat and pour batter over top then bake until pancake is puffed and golden. |
