These are so good and buttery. I got this recipe from a good friend who served these at a recent baby shower I attended. She made a triple batch and there were not left. enjoy Ingredients:
baked almond crisps |
1/2 cup brown sugar packed |
1/2 cup granulated sugar |
1 cup butter softened |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2-1/3 cups all purpose flour |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 1/4 cups toasted chopped unblanched almonds |
Directions:
1. Beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy then beat in egg and vanilla. 2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt then gradually beat into butter mixture and stir in almonds. 3. Shape into 4 logs then wrap and freeze for 2 hours or until firm. 4. Preheat oven to 375 then slice and bake 12 minutes. |
