This is a tried and true side dish that goes great with just about everything! Ingredients:
2 acorn squash |
1/3 cup of butter |
6 tsp. firmly packed brown sugar |
1/2 tsp. cinnamon |
salt and pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 and prep a baking pan with non-stick spray. 2. Bake the squash cut side down for 35 minutes or until it's tender. 3. Turn it over and season with the salt and pepper and dot it with the butter, add a little brown sugar and cinnamon mixture to each of the four halves. 4. Bake for 20 more minutes and then serve. |
