A nice twist to the normal French toast Ingredients:
1/4 cup milk |
1/3 cup bailey's irish cream |
4 eggs well beaten |
1/8 t. almond extract |
12 slices of thick sliced bread |
butter |
powdered sugar |
fresh berries (opptional) |
Directions:
1. Mix first 4 ingredients together in a bowl 2. heat butter in a pan or on a griddle soak bread in mixture and fry till golden on both sides keep in a 170 degree oven till all are ready slice toast on diagonal place six halves on plate dust with powdered sugar and seve with the berries on the plate 3. Butter and warm maple syrup on the side 4. Enjoy |
