An excellent dip if you love garlic. My family traditionally makes this on New Years Eve. Ingredients:
1/2c olive oil |
1/2 stick butter |
4-6 garlic cloves, very thinly sliced |
7oz anchovies |
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil and butter in pot over low heat. Add garlic and anchovies and cook until anchovies melt into a paste, about 10 minutes. Keep warm and serve with raw vegetables and bread for dipping. |
