A traditional italian dip for bread. Ingredients:
2 cups whipping cream |
1/4 cup butter |
8 flat anchovy fillets, minced |
3 garlic cloves, minced |
Directions:
1. In a heavy sauce pan, bring whipping cream to a boil and cook till reduced to half stirring frequently. 2. Melt butter in another sauce pan and add anchovies and garlic. Cook till garlic is soft but do not brown. 3. Stir in cream and bring to a simmer, do not boil. 4. Pour into a small fondue pot and place over a warmer. |
