A traditional Eastern drink/dessert. Surprisingly refreshing but rich, this is a memorable taste. It can be served warm in winter, or over ice in summer. Ingredients:
2 cups milk |
2 tablespoons heavy cream |
1 cup finely ground almonds |
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar |
2 tablespoons rose water |
Directions:
1. Combine the milk, cream, ground almonds, confectioners' sugar, and rosewater in a blender, and blend until thoroughly mixed and smooth, about 1 minute. Serve over ice. |
