Spicy Burgers, they're too good to miss!! Ingredients:
2 lbs lean ground beef (or as much as you want) |
1 white onion, finely chopped |
2 mushrooms, finely chopped |
3 garlic cloves, finely crushed and chopped |
1 tablespoon fresh black pepper |
1 tablespoon dried chili pepper flakes |
1 teaspoon sea salt |
2 tablespoons pimento paste (portuguese pimenta) |
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar |
1 tablespoon romano cheese |
3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped |
1 egg |
4 tablespoons instant oatmeal or 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients into Beef thoroughly. Ensure that the mixture is of a even texture of spices and ingredients. 2. Let stand in Fridge for about 20mins. 3. Have a cold drink and light the Bar-B-Q. 4. Create balls of meat (about the size of a grapefruit) and work very well. *You'll know it's worked when your fingers pick up fat from the beef*. 5. Work into a flattened patty, creating a dimple in the center of the patty so that cooking will not create a 'ball' of beef. 6. Cook until juices run clear. If you like a charred taste, cook on higher heat with lid closed. For a regular finish, cook on medium/high with lid open. 7. Rotate burgers when meat naturally releases from grill. 8. Flip once, repeat rotate when meat releases from grill. 9. Enjoy with Sauteed - Mushrooms, Red Peppers and Onions - and of course, A Cold Beer. |
