Sweet/not too hot appetizer that is sure to please everyone! To borrow a phrase from Frito-Lay Betcha can't eat just one!! Ingredients:
3/4 c. packed brown sugar |
3 t. chili powder( not a typo) |
1 lb. bacon |
3 ounce pkg. of thin breadsticks |
Directions:
1. Combine first two ingredients in a glass pie pan and set aside. 2. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each bread stick. The bacon fat will adhere the bacon to the bread stick. 3. Roll each bread stick in sugar mixture and place on a rack set in a cookie sheet lined with foil. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. 5. Cool 10-15 minutes. 6. Serve at room temp. |
