Anna Hanson states that these are topped with a rich cream sauce and rolled around a mild cheesy filling. Perfect with a side of fettucine . Ingredients:
4 skinless, boneless chicken brast halves |
1/2 (8 ounce) cream cheese, sliced |
4 slices bacon |
1 teaspoon fresh chives, chopped |
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup milk |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
pinch salt |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). 2. Pound chicken breasts until flat. 3. Put a slice of cream cheese and 1 teaspoon chopped chives in the middle of each breast and roll up. 4. Wrap each rolled breast with 1 slice of bacon secured with toothpicks. 5. Place rolls in a 13x9 baking dish. 6. In medium bowl combine soup, mayonnaise, milk, lemon juice, pepper and salt. 7. Mix until smooth. 8. Pour over chicken in dish. 9. Bake for 1 hour OR until no longer pink and juices run clear. |
