From the Farmers' Almanac. Ingredients:
1 lb. fresh asparagus |
1 lb. bacon strips, cut in half |
2 tbsp. garlic-flavored olive oil |
Directions:
1. Wash asparagus thoroughly and snap off bottoms of stalks. 2. Wrap each stalk with a half strip of bacon. 3. Brush the asparagus with the olive oil, skipping over the bacon. 4. Place in a single layer on a baking sheet. 5. Roast in a 400 degree F ove fro about 10 minutes, until bacon is done. |
