I made these last week and all 6 dozen were gone within an hour, with only 3 people eating them. An easy appetizer for holidays and Sundays (when you know dinners gonna take a couple of hours). Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls |
1 8-0z. package cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup crumbled bacon |
3 green onions, minced |
2 teaspoons milk |
grated parmesan cheese |
Directions:
1. Unroll crescent dough and separate into rectangles, press perforations to seal. 2. Stir together cream cheese, bacon, onions and milk until blended. 3. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly on dough. 4. Roll up jellyroll fashion, starting on a long side; press edges to seal. 5. Cut each roll into 8 or 10 slices and place on ungreased baking sheet. (It might help to refrigerate rolls before slicing.) 6. Sprinkle swirls with Parmesan cheese. 7. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 12 minutes or until lightly browned. 8. Serve warm and eat until breath reeks of onion and bacon! |
