They are what they sound like. Delicious. Serve as appetizer. Doesn't need too much sauce. Just adds the perfect amount of flavor! Ingredients:
8 slices bacon |
1/2 cup butter |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup red wine vinegar |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
2 cloves garlic, chopped |
salt to taste |
4 avocados - halved, pitted, and peeled |
Directions:
1. Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels; crumble. 2. Mix butter, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic in a saucepan; cook and stir mixture over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes. 3. Sprinkle avocado halves with salt; fill each half with crumbled bacon. Drizzle sauce over filled avocados. |
