Bacon & Sharp Cheddar Quiche

Homemade quiche from scratch!
Ingredients:
2 unbaked pie crusts
7 eggs
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups cheddar cheese
1 cup bacon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2/3 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup cottage cheese
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Bake both piecrusts for 11 minutes.
3. Remove from oven and immediately brush with yolk of 1 egg.
4. Mix all ingredients except bacon and cheese together (use remaining egg white).
5. Place 1/2 cup bacon and 1 cup of cheddar into each piecrust. Cover with egg mixture.
6. Bake at 375 for 38 - 40 minutes.
