I found this recipe in the December 2012 issue of Cooking Light magazine. It is a simple way to dress up broccoli. Ingredients:
12 ounces broccoli florets |
2 slices centered cut bacon |
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Place broccoli in a large pan of boiling water. Cook three to five minutes or until broccoli is crisp tender; drain. Fry bacon in a non-stick skillet. Remove bacon with slotted spoon and crumble. Add broccoli, bacon, salt, and pepper to bacon drippings. Coat broccoli. Cook for one minute. |
