A rich, hearty and simple soup. Ingredients:
8 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch piece |
6 med. red potatoes cubed |
2 med. onions chopped |
8-oz. carton sour cream |
1 1/4 cup milk |
10 3/4-oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup |
8-oz. can whole kernel corn,drained |
1/4 tsp. pepper |
1/4 tps. thyme leaves |
Directions:
1. 1- In 3-qt. saucepan cook bacon over med. heat for 5 minutes.: add potatoes, onions. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender (15 to 20 min.). Add remaining ingredients. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until heated through (10 to 12min.). |
