This recipe came from Southern Living Magazine. Mmm good. Perfect for summer days picnic or by the pond fishing. Ingredients:
4 bacon, slices |
16 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 (4 ounce) jar diced pimentos, rinsed and drained |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons finely chopped onions |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon red pepper |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon in large skillet four to five minutes on each side or until crisp. 2. Remove bacon, and drain on paper towels. 3. Crumble bacon. 4. Stir together bacon, cheese and remaining ingredients just until well blended. 5. Store cheese mixture in an airtight container in refrigerator up to one week. |
