Simple and tasty. From my sister. You can sub any veggie you want. Ingredients:
8 ounces pasta, cooked (i use thin spaghetti) |
3 medium sweet onions, sliced into wedges |
2 tablespoons oregano |
1 lb bacon, chopped and fried (reserve 1/4 cup grease) |
1/4 cup bacon grease |
2 eggs, mixed |
garlic salt, to taste |
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded |
2 cups pea pods |
pepper, to taste |
Directions:
1. Cook onions in the bacon grease, set aside. 2. Combine eggs, oregano, garlic salt and toss with the warm pasta. You might need to put it on heat to cook the egg. 3. Add the veggies and bacon to pan and heat through. 4. Serve with parmesan cheese. |
