Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Salad

This was given to me by a teacher friend. DH loves this one.
Ingredients:
1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled (i usually bake)
1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
2 heads broccoli, cut into florets
1 red onion, med., thinly sliced
1 cup mayonnaise (low fat)
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 tablespoon sugar
Directions:
1. In a glass bowl, layer first the bacon, romaine, tomatoes, broccoli and finally onion.
2. In a separate med. bowl, combine dressing ingredients.
3. Spread the dressing over the top and to the sides of the bowl.
4. Cover with Saran wrap and refrigerate for at least 12 hours or overnight.
5. Just before serving, mix the dressing into the salad.
6. Delicious.
