Ingredients:
6 slices bacon |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 (29-ounce) can hominy, drained |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup, undiluted |
1/2 cup water |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
dash of pepper |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon, reserving drippings in skillet; crumble bacon, and set aside. 2. Sauté onion in bacon drippings until tender. Add bacon, hominy, soup, water, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. |
