This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale a few years back. I love salads and make them all the time. This one is one of my favorites. It is delightful and one I make often to take for lunch. Enjoy Ingredients:
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing |
1 tablespoon lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
2 cups cut up cooked chicken |
1/3 cup toasted slivered almonds |
2 medium stalks celery sliced |
4 slices bacon crisply cooked and crumbled |
Directions:
1. Mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper in medium bow. 2. Toss with chicken, almonds and celery. 3. Stir in bacon just before serving. |
