BACON CHEESE PUFFS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hartford Estate in Mesquite Texas in 1991. Ingredients:
10 slices bacon diced and fried crisp |
8 ounces cream cheese softened |
2 tablespoons sour cream |
6 green onions chopped |
2 teaspoons granulated sugar |
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
8 ounce can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375. 2. In a small bowl combine all filling ingredients and mix well. 3. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles and firmly press perforations to seal. 4. Cut in half lengthwise and then crosswise to make 8 squares each. 5. Stretch slightly and spoon a small amount of filling into center of square. 6. Seal around filling to make a ball. 7. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes. |
