Ingredients:
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 large egg |
2 cups all-purpose flour |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup (2-ounces) shredded cheddar cheese |
3 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled |
1 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Beat butter and sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; add egg, beating just until mixture is blended. 2. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cheese, and bacon; add to butter mixture alternately with milk, ending with flour mixture. Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling two-thirds full. 3. Bake at 375ยบ for 25 minutes. Remove from pans immediately; cool on wire racks. |
