Another recipe from a friend who brought this dip to work to share. This dip will be a hit at your party! Ingredients:
1 package 250g cream cheese, softened |
2 cups sour cream |
2 cups grated cheddar cheese |
1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled |
chopped green onions |
round sourdough bread |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon. Crumble when cooled. 2. Cut thick slice lengthwise from top of bread. 3. Scoop out bread, leaving a shell. 4. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon and green onions. Mix well. Fill loaf with dip. 5. Bake at 375F. for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cut bread into chunks for dipping. Have extra bread chunks on hand |
