Bacon Cheddar Jalapeno Poppers |

I make poppers all the time. Usually I deep fry them. Tonight I made an oven version with a little kick. Ingredients:
1 16 ounce package jack cheese |
1 package of regular cream cheese |
red pepper flakes 1/2 tsp. |
12 large jalapeño peppers, seeded and halved |
24 slices of bacon |
Directions:
1. Preheat the broiler 2. Shred the jack cheese and mix with the cream cheese and the red pepper flakes. Stuff inside the jalapeno halves.Wrap the jalapeño halves with the bacon slices, securing with a toothpick. Place on a medium baking sheet. 3. Broil 5 to 10 minutes, or until the bacon is evenly browned |
