Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs |

Two of two deviled egg versions that are a nice change from the original. This one features the tastes of bacon and cheddar cheese. Kind of a 'brunch' version. Ingredients:
6 eggs |
1/4 c. mayonnaise |
2 slices bacon |
1 tbsp. finely shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 tbsp. prepared mustard |
additional bacon, for garnish |
cheddar cheese curls, for garnish (optional) |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon in frying pan until crisp, then crumble and set aside (if you would like to garnish with bacon, fry an extra strip). 2. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks. Set whites aside. 3. Mash yolks and mix with remaining ingredients, except garnish. Fill white with yolk mixture. Garnish with additional crumbled bacon and a cheese curl (if desired). Refrigerate until serving. |
