Ingredients:
4 piece(s) bacon |
1 onion chopped |
1/2 teaspoon(s) mustard powder |
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper |
chicken broth 14 oz |
4 teaspoon(s) flour |
2 cup(s) half-and-half |
12 oz shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 teaspoon(s) paprika |
Directions:
1. Cook bacon until crisp. Drain drippings and save. Drain bacon on paper towel. Add onion to bacon fat in saucepan. Cook 3 min. until onion begins to brown. Add mustard, pepper, and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. 2. Whisk in flour, add half-n-half, and paprika, stir in cheese until melted. Crumble with reserved bacon when serving. |
